Dana has been instrumental in promoting individuals, celebrities and positioning technology companies as leaders in their respective markets both nationally and internationally for over 30 years. Having started her career as a magazine editor in Austin, TX, followed by working in entertainment publicity while living in Los Angeles representing high profile music artists such as Motley Crue and Neil Diamond, red carpet events including Eyes Wide Shut, celebrity book authors including Tom Wolfe, James Patterson and Jackie Collins and big brand celebrity product launches such as Candie’s, Dana then transitioned comfortably into technology PR back in Austin. In 2006, Dana launched Buzz Public Relations, LLC after quickly realizing clients would be better served if she could build relationships with a select few–leaving the PR-agency derby behind.
Dana earned a Bachelor of Journalism with an emphasis in Public Relations from the University of Texas at Austin. She has served on numerous Board positions including SMBAustin, Women Communicators of Austin (WCA)/Freelance Austin and the Austin Advertising Federation. Dana is Hubspot Inbound Marketing certified, has been recognized with several industry and leadership awards and has served as a guest speaker and panelist for several local organizations including Texas CEO Magazine Speaker Series, Content Marketing Meetup, YHPAA, WCA, Freelance Austin and SMBAustin. She regularly volunteers and mentors in her local community, and frequently speaks at her alma mater helping students seeking a career in Public Relations.
PJ Christie is an award-winning internet marketing specialist and founder of Austin-based search marketing and strategy agency Search and Convert. As a partner of BuzzPR, he brings more than 15 years of in organic search, search engine marketing, and landing page optimization experience with a specialty in growing businesses large and small. Christie’s professional goal is to bring competitive intensity to business marketing and maintaining transparency with his clients, while demonstrating an unwavering ability to identify and attract leads, convert customers and increase sales.
Christie is a certified Google Analytics, Google Adwords Fundamentals, and Advance Adwords Partner, and has earned certification for HubSpot Inbound Marketing. He is a highly-regarded public speaker on topics ranging from growth strategies, bootstrapping startups and scaling lead generation campaigns, and serves as a SEO Mentor at Social Media Week, Internet Marketing Party at Capital Factory, Facebook Ads at Creatives Meet Business, and Ethics in Marketing at Texas Freelance Conference 2018.
Christie has a proven track record of anticipating trends and advancements in technology, connecting to audiences, integrating corporate branding across marketing channels without interference from corporate influence, and developing sales-driven collateral. He has led four startup businesses in passing the $1 million revenue threshold, is a ProductCamp 9 Austin for the innovative Lean Dialog, and has been Lean Startup competition judge for two consecutive years.
LuAnn is the founder of WordCove which provides business ghostwriting and editing services for some of the top business owners in Austin, San Antonio and throughout the country. With extensive experience in tech, healthcare, finance and other B2B and professional service niches, she’s BuzzPR’s go-to content partner. LuAnn ghostwrites hundreds of blog posts, white papers, case studies, op-eds, magazine articles, industry guides, sales letters, video scripts and, yes, even books for clients each year. She started her career in PR and integrated communications for nonprofits and agencies with healthcare, finance and IT clients, which makes her uniquely adept at crafting the strategy behind the words.
Over the years, LuAnn has served as a guest speaker and panelist for several organizations and events including SXSW Interactive, BlogathonATX, Austin Content Marketing Tweetup, GetSmart, IABC Brazos Valley, Social Media Breakfast, and Texas State University’s PRSSA and Mass Communications Week, and has been a guest speaker/lecturer at Concordia University and St. Edward’s University. LuAnn is a volunteer mentor for Women Communicators of Austin and a co-host of the organization’s Careers Over Coffee networking group.
Deanna is a self-taught designer and owner of a thriving Austin-based creative agency, Ryderking Creative. With 13 solid years of creative experience based in having the heart of an artist, Deanna takes an unbridled approach to manifesting ideas into tangible beauty. Having partnered with BuzzPR on several clients, Ryderking Creative is a full-service digital agency offering a full spectrum of design and web services and email marketing services, working collectively with local and global brands. Her clients include designers, business corporations, retail, start-ups, and medical services. Deanna believes design is best when its simple, honest, and human.
